Grammy was a flapper!




No, these aren't pictures of Grammy, these are actresses from the 1920's.


My Dad says Grammy was a flapper. She was born in 1915, so she'd have been 20 in 1935. My internet research has shown that either A)the "Flapper Movement" lasted until the 50's, or B) the "Flapper Movement" ended around the time of the Great Depression.

Flappers bobbed their hair, wore short skirts (those are short??), and listened to Jazz--among other things.
